Ten coal wagons derailed in Krasnoyarsk Region

Ten coal wagons derailed near the Zaozernaya station of the Krasnoyarsk Railway. This was announced on March 24 by the press service of the Eastern Interregional Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Telegram channel.

As specified in the department, there was no overturning of the wagons and there were no delays in the movement of trains.

"The amount of damage and the circumstances of the incident are being established," the report says.

So far, investigators are checking the incident, establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, on March 15, in the Amur Region, on the Chalgany – Ushumun section of the Trans-Baikal Railway, freight train cars derailed and collided with an oncoming train. 28 wagons and two sections of the locomotive derailed. A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway transport").
