The contacts between the Russian and US delegations in Saudi Arabia are working meetings where details and conditions of a possible future peace agreement are discussed, and more than one round of negotiations is expected. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Svetlana Zhurova on Monday, March 24.

According to the MP, this is a difficult process involving many legal nuances, and all points should be spelled out in such a way that there is no double interpretation, because the issue of human destinies is at stake.

"The military starts the war, and the diplomats end it. Now it is the period of diplomats' work. This is a very painstaking, rather meticulous work, so we understand that there will be more than one round of negotiations," the parliamentarian said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .
