In Moscow, 164 objects were excluded from the list of commercial and office real estate objects subject to property tax from the cadastral value. The relevant decision was made at a meeting of the Presidium of the Moscow government. This was reported in the press service of the department on March 25.

"Organizations that own the excluded facilities will pay property tax for 2025 on the average annual cost," said Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow and head of the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the city.

In addition, six real estate properties are included in the list for 2025. They began to meet the criteria of the list before January 1, 2025, but information about these objects was received after its formation.

In Moscow, the transfer of commercial and office real estate to the calculation of property tax from the cadastral value, which reflects the real value of objects and ensures fair taxation conditions, began in 2014.

The list of commercial and office real estate, the property tax for which is calculated based on the cadastral value, is approved by the Moscow government annually and then adjusted three times a year. In 2025, it has over 41 thousand objects: retail and office real estate, catering and consumer services facilities.

In December last year, the head of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, Anton Siluanov, announced that by the end of 2024, the Russian federal budget would obviously receive income from privatization in the amount of 130 billion rubles, although only 80 billion rubles of such profit was planned. It was noted that the Ministry of Finance plans to profitably sell the business assets that come to it so that they are managed by private individuals and the assets work.
