Pyrotechnics of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated the Ukrainian UAV "Chaklun" in the Kursk region. This was announced on March 24 by the press service of the department.

"The combined mine clearance unit of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations destroyed an aircraft-type UAV. He was discovered by local residents. The aircraft was suppressed by electronic warfare," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

In total, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations neutralized over 2,000 aerial bombs, missiles, and drones in the Kursk region. According to the ministry, experts most often respond to messages related to the detection of submunitions and UAVs. Employees neutralize the equipment using the method of controlled detonation in compliance with security measures.

The agency also reminded that you should not approach suspicious objects. They should be reported to special services.
