The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to Kiev's disinterest in peace

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched an attack on the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station on the eve of negotiations in Riyadh between Russia and the United States in order to disrupt the discussion of peace initiatives. This was announced on March 24 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"It's the same story every time. Before any contacts, including during visits to Moscow by foreign delegations, the Kiev regime commits terrorist acts, attacks on civilian infrastructure, civilian facilities, extremist acts, and so on," the diplomat stressed.

Targeted disruption: Kiev is trying to complicate negotiations between Russia and the United States

To this end, an attempt was made to invade the Belgorod Region and attack a Russian energy facility in the Krasnodar Territory.

The Kiev regime carried out a UAV attack on the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station on the night of March 24. The enemy drone was intercepted 7 km from the facility.

Prior to that, on March 19, Ukrainian Armed Forces militants attacked the CPC oil depot in the village of Kavkazskaya in the Krasnodar Territory. This happened a few hours after the adoption of US President Donald Trump's proposal to temporarily stop attacks on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure. On March 20, Zakharova said that this truce had "already been violated" by the Kiev regime.
