The idea of establishing a "cooling-off period" for passengers, during which buyers will be able to cancel train and flight tickets without charging additional fees, deserves attention. This opinion was expressed by the head of the State Duma Committee on Transport, Evgeny Moskvichev, on Monday, March 24, commenting on the initiative to change the ticket refund rule.

Earlier, the Union of Passengers of Russia proposed introducing a "cooling-off period" for passengers, during which cancellation or adjustment of tickets will be available at no additional cost. 360.ru . The Ministry of Transport is exploring the possibility of implementing such an idea, RT reports.

"If the Ministry of Transport says that it is necessary to study this issue, then it is necessary to study it for the benefit of passengers. Transportation is designed to carry passengers safely, comfortably, safely and efficiently. Ticket sales and refunds should be for the benefit of passengers only," the MP said.
