Modernization of the MSCC named after Loginov, one of the five anchor oncological hospitals in the capital, is scheduled to be completed in 2026, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.

Currently, work is underway in three buildings: two medical and one laboratory. The buildings were built about half a century ago. The buildings will be connected to the main building by covered walkways.

"Patients will be able to undergo diagnostics, as well as receive high-tech treatment and follow-up in one place. This will ensure the continuity and comfort of patients at the inpatient and outpatient stages," Sobyanin said.

The renovated buildings will include a hematology center, an operative endoscopy department, oncosurgical, urological and intensive care units. There will also be operating rooms, laboratories for cytogenetics and immunological tissue typing.

In 2023, a medical and diagnostic complex was opened here. It has been equipped with the latest equipment: robot-assisted surgical systems, devices for conducting radioisotope diagnostics, and linear accelerators have become available to specialists.
