- Lavrov discussed with the Armenian Foreign Minister the coordination of the peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku

On March 24, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held telephone talks with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The topics of the talks included topical issues on the global and regional agenda, as well as bilateral relations between Russia and Armenia.
"The progress in agreeing on the text of the peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku, which was highly appreciated in Moscow, was noted," the ministry's website says.
Lavrov and Mirzoyan also discussed the schedule and content of future contacts between Moscow and Yerevan.
On March 13, Azerbaijan and Armenia completed negotiations on agreeing on the text of a peace treaty. According to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Yerevan has accepted proposals regarding the last two uncoordinated points. At the next stage, Baku expects Armenia to amend its Constitution, which still contains territorial claims against Azerbaijan.
