The co-pilot of Ural Airlines, Eduar Semenov, who, as part of the crew, made an emergency landing in a field in the Novosibirsk region in the fall of 2023, was fired. The airline's press service told TASS about this.
According to the results of the Central Medical and Flight Expert Commission (CVLEC), Semenov was declared unfit to perform the functions of a pilot.
"We offered him to consider the option of a ground job, but he refused," the airline's press service said.
The dismissal order was signed on March 20 under clause 8, Part 1, Article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation ("Refusal of an employee from a transfer required in accordance with a medical opinion").
On September 12, 2023, a Boeing plane flying from Sochi to Omsk, which sounded the alarm, made an emergency landing.
