Treatment of parks from ticks started in Lipetsk

The treatment of natural parks against ticks has begun in Lipetsk. Citizens are advised to refrain from walking dogs.

Early in the morning on March 24, the processing took place in the Skazka Children's Park, Bykhanov Garden and Metallurgov Park. Specialists in protective suits sprayed the drug against parasites. The rest of the parks will be processed in the coming days, GOROD48 writes.

The drug used is dangerous for humans only at the time of spraying, so treatments are carried out early in the morning, before the active flow appears. Dogs should not come into contact with the drug, so residents of Lipetsk are asked not to walk their pets for several days in the parks being treated.

The first case of tick bite in the Lipetsk region was registered on March 10. A week later, 33 cases were reported.
