Liksutov spoke about spending money from paid parking

More than 10 billion rubles received by Moscow from the payment of city parking were allocated in advance for the improvement of courtyards this year. This was stated by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry.
"Thanks to the funds from paid parking in Moscow, yard territories are annually put in order. At the initiative of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the proceeds from street parking are directed to the improvement of house territories. For example, last year, about 1,000 yards were renovated and renovated," Liksutov said.
The funds received from parking payments are transferred annually in advance to the district administrations, which direct them to the arrangement of playgrounds and sports grounds, repair of pedestrian zones and driveways, landscaping of adjacent territories. In addition, the money goes to work on the development of road infrastructure: the installation of traffic signs, the creation of pedestrian crossings, parking pockets and artificial bumps. At the same time, residents independently decide what should be updated first. To do this, you need to make proposals to the municipal deputies.
Earlier in March, Liksutov said that in two years, motorists had replenished their account in the Parking in Russia app 55.4 million times without commission. He explained that the city is responsible for paying the commission charged by banks for transactions in the application, in an effort to make "city services more convenient and accessible."
