Kulemzin spoke about the prospects of restoring Marinka and Krasnogorovka in the DPR

The liberated Maryinka and Krasnogorovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) will not be forgotten, sooner or later they will be restored. This was announced on March 24 by the head of the Donetsk city district Alexei Kulemzin.

"Maryinka and Krasnogorovka are included in our municipal district and a master plan is being developed for them," he told the Donetsk News Agency (DAN).

At the same time, Kulemzin added that there are many explosive objects in these cities. He also stressed that it might be easier to attract investors to build new residential buildings closer to the center of the Donetsk agglomeration, where demand from residents would be higher.

The head of the city district also noted that during the restoration of Maryinka and Krasnogorovka, attention should be paid to the development of industrial enterprises, and not only to the residential sector.

On December 25, 2023, Sergei Shoigu, then head of the Russian Defense Ministry, reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the liberation of Maryinka. On September 10, 2024, the Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Krasnogorovka.
