36 people were taken to hospital after a bus accident in Crimea.

In the Simferopol region of the Republic of Crimea, 36 people were taken to hospitals after a bus accident, 17 of them were hospitalized. This was announced on March 24 by the Ministry of Health of the region.

"According to the results of the examination, 17 people out of 36 victims were hospitalized, including one minor," the Telegram channel said in a statement.

Two patients are in serious condition. The remaining 19 victims received outpatient medical care, the ministry added.

Earlier on March 25, Assistant Minister of Health of Russia Alexei Kuznetsov reported that 16 people were hospitalized as a result of an accident with a regular bus.

A regular bus and a truck collided on a highway in Crimea, near the village of Ukromnoye, Simferopol district. The Interior Ministry in the region reported that six people were killed and about 19 people were injured. The Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF) has opened a criminal case on the fact of violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles, which negligently resulted in the death of two or more persons (Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
