The new Geely EX5 electric crossover has started arriving at Russian dealers. In particular, the new product is already available in Moscow car dealerships, according to the analytical agency "Autostat" on March 24.

According to Alexander Kochetkov, director of the Avilon AG division, it is still difficult to talk about the possible sales volume of the Geely EX5, since the electric vehicle market is narrow and seasonal.

"Our plans and ambitions have so far stopped at 5%. The main competitors of Geely EX5 will be Moskvich 3e and Evolve i-SKY," Kochetkov believes.

Geely announced the launch of sales of the EX5 in March, the model is available in two trim levels priced from 4.1 million and 4.4 million rubles, respectively. The electric motor develops 218 hp, front-wheel drive. With a mass of 1,840 kg, the car is able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. The Geely EX5's fast direct current battery charging time from 10 to 80% is 28 minutes. The battery at maximum charge provides a range of up to 430 km (according to the WLTP cycle).
