A drunk man with a knife broke into a kindergarten in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region. This was announced on March 24 by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

"The defendant, who was previously convicted of theft, robbery, sale of drugs and weapons, entered the preschool with a kitchen knife in his hand, thereby scaring the staff," the report says.

It is specified that there were no casualties in the incident. The man was detained and taken to the police station in Moscow.

Earlier, on March 14, a shooting occurred at a private kindergarten on Linden Park Street in the village of Kommunarka in New Moscow. According to the investigation, an unknown person came into conflict with the mother of his child, and then fired a traumatic pistol in the direction of her friend. As a result of the incident, a man was injured.

All the participants in the incident were taken to the police. Subsequently, a criminal case was opened on hooliganism.
