The United States' allies in Europe and Asia are thinking about their own nuclear weapons. This was reported on March 24 by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper.

"The phenomenon of [US President Donald] Trump provided a powerful incentive for voicing opinions in the countries of the United States' allies, which are that the possession of nuclear weapons will fundamentally solve the problem of America's unreliability," the publication says.

According to the publication, Germany, South Korea and Japan are among the countries under consideration. Each of these States is capable of developing nuclear weapons as soon as possible. However, in Berlin and Tokyo, discussions are taking place in a very narrow circle, as the countries are afraid of negative consequences for their reputations, given the results of the Second World War.
