The court has begun considering the case of former Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov and his former subordinate Anton Filatov on embezzlement and withdrawal of more than 4 billion rubles from the bank "Intercommerce", the correspondent of "Izvestia" from the courtroom on March 24.

Prior to that, on March 18, the court extended Ivanov's arrest until April 23. Thus, the total period of his stay in the pre-trial detention center in the bribery case was increased to a year.
