Crimean Interior Ministry: the bus driver who hit the truck was sober

The driver of a regular bus that crashed into a parked truck on a highway in Crimea was sober at the time of the accident. This was announced on March 24 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.

It is specified that the staff of the State Traffic Inspectorate conducted a check on the condition of the driver of public transport at the scene of the incident.

"It has been established that the driver is sober," the department's Telegram channel says.

An accident involving a regular bus and a truck occurred on the highway in Crimea on the same day. As a result of the incident, six people were killed and more than 20 passengers were injured. There were a total of 32 people in public transport at the time of the accident.

The bus driver claimed that he was blinded by the sun, so he did not notice the truck in front.
