On March 24, a large shipment of humanitarian aid arrived at the Harmony boarding school for children with special needs in Melitopol from the Charitable Foundation for Children of Donbass, created by ROSSIYA Joint-Stock Bank.

The institution received hygiene items, detergents, stationery, books on history and geography, as well as various creative supplies — the latter were especially lacking for the boarding school. In particular, the students received a supply of pottery clay, which is enough for a whole year of classes.

The Charitable Foundation for the Children of Donbass has been helping the Harmony boarding school for the second time — the previous aid package was sent in the fall of 2023. The People's Front is helping with the delivery of cargo from Moscow, which also maintains contact with educational institutions in the new regions.

"Evaluating children is the first priority. When we see the joy of children, when we see that it is being used right here, as it is today, then it is really necessary," said Ivan Portnoy, a representative of the Popular Front in the Zaporizhia region.

Earlier, on March 20, two new playrooms for young patients opened at the Pervomaisk Children's Hospital in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). This happened as part of a large project by the Charitable Foundation for the Children of Donbass and the Popular Front to create spaces for children's recreation and development in medical institutions in new regions — a total of 39 children's rooms are planned to be opened.
