The Central Bank of the Russian Federation extended for six months restrictions on transfers of funds from non-residents

On March 24, the Central Bank of Russia announced the extension of restrictions on transfers of funds from non-residents from unfriendly countries from the accounts of Russian brokers and trust managers.

"The Bank of Russia suspends such operations from April 1, 2025 for another 6 months," the Central Bank's website says.

It is specified that these restrictions were introduced on April 1, 2022 and are being extended to maintain the financial stability of the country.

On March 21, the central Bank extended restrictions on transfers of funds abroad for citizens for six months. The limit on transfers within the framework of money transfer systems will also continue to remain at the level of $10,000 per month.
