Umerov called the talks between the United States and Ukraine in Riyadh productive

The Ukrainian and American delegations have completed negotiations in the capital of Saudi Arabia on the parameters of a ceasefire. This was announced on March 23 by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, who participated in the consultations.

"We have completed our meeting with the American team. The discussion was productive and purposeful," he informed the X network (ex. Twitter).

Umerov also clarified that key issues, including energy, were raised during the talks.

Earlier it was reported that negotiations between the delegations of Russia and the United States will take place in Riyadh on March 24. They will discuss the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine and the implementation of the Black Sea initiative. The Russian delegation will be led by Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, and Sergey Beseda, Adviser to the head of the Federal Security Service (FSB).
