Air defense forces repelled UAV attacks in six districts of the Rostov region

The Air Defense Forces repelled a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in six districts of the Rostov region, and also destroyed drones in the city of Novoshakhtinsk and on approach to Rostov-on-Don. This was announced on Monday, March 24, by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"This night, air defense forces and means repelled a massive enemy air attack, destroying UAVs in Aksai, Oktyabrsky rural, Krasnosulinsky, Ust-Donetsk, Zernogradsky, Myasnikovsky districts, as well as in Novoshakhtinsk and on the approach to Rostov," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Slyusar added that, previously, there were no casualties or damage.

The fighters will have the opportunity to prepare in advance to repel an air raid.

The day before, on March 23, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems destroyed 28 Ukrainian UAVs over four regions of Russia from 22:20 to 23:10 Moscow time. 17 drones were shot down over the territory of the Rostov region, six over the territory of the Voronezh region, four UAVs over the territory of the Belgorod region and one over the territory of the Bryansk region.
