In Komsomolsk-on-Amur, a six-year-old child was injured as a result of falling ice to the roof of a building. This was announced on March 23 by the press service of the Khabarovsk Territory Prosecutor's Office in the Telegram channel.

"According to preliminary information, on March 23, 2025, snow and ice formations descended from the roof of a building on Paris Commune Street in Komsomolsk-on-Amur during the daytime. As a result, a boy born in 2018 was injured," the ministry said.

After the incident, the minor was taken to the hospital, where he was treated. It is reported that he suffered soft tissue bruises.

Employees of the city prosecutor's office went to the crash site. A check was organized on the fact of the incident.

"The supervisory authority will assess the activities of officials responsible for the maintenance of the building during the winter period. If there are grounds, a set of prosecutorial response measures will be taken," the press service said.

Earlier, on March 19, in Barnaul, a piece of ice fell from the roof onto an eight-year-old girl. The causes and circumstances of the incident are being investigated by investigators. They identify an employee of the management company, whose duties include issues related to the proper maintenance of the roof of the house, the department added.
