An aerial bomb from World War II was found in Slovakia during construction work.

An aerial bomb from World War II was discovered during construction work in the village of Svodin in western Slovakia. This was announced on Sunday, March 23, by the Fajfront portal.
"Based on photographs of the bomb, an explosive device disposal specialist called to the scene ordered the safe evacuation of the population from the nearby area," the portal said.
In total, about 200 people were evacuated. Among the evacuees were believers from the local church, where Mass was being held at the time. In addition to the church, residents from nearby houses also had to be evacuated.
Earlier, on March 7, an unexploded bomb from the Second World War was found at the Paris train station. While local police were working to neutralize the device, the station, where Eurostar trains arrive from London, as well as high-speed and regional trains, was suspended.
