BRICS Bank Governor Rousseff confirms re-election for a new term

The chairman of the BRICS New Development Bank (NDB), former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, has been re-elected for a new term. She announced this on Sunday, March 24.
"I was re-elected. They are (Members of the NBR. — Ed.) nominated [my candidacy], and the board unanimously approved this decision," the newspaper O Globo quoted her as saying.
The BRICS 2025 Summit will be held in Rio de Janeiro on July 6 and 7. It will discuss strengthening trade and economic ties between the BRICS countries, developing alternative payment systems to stimulate trade without dependence on the US dollar, and reforming multilateral institutions to ensure more equitable global governance.
