In Russia, prices for manicure products have decreased by up to 29%. This was told to Izvestia by Atol analysts, who, on the eve of the Manicure Master's Day, conducted a study based on 4.7 million receipts of anonymized sales data for nail care products. It is noteworthy that the average purchase receipt for most products decreased in the range from 1 to 29%.

"The average purchase price for nail clippers has decreased more than others. In January–March 2025, they were more often bought for 310 rubles, which is 29% cheaper than in the same period last year. A significant decrease in the average sale amount was also recorded for false nails (26% — up to 298 rubles), nail polish (21% — up to 159 rubles), nail forceps (18% — up to 367 rubles), nail rhinestones (12% -187 rubles) and a manicure cutter (11% — up to 346 rubles)," the study says.

The average selling price for a nail file, which Russians more often bought for about 252 rubles, has not changed.

But stickers, nail polish, and a manicure set have increased in price. So, stickers were purchased on average for 147 rubles, plus 7% from 2024, nail polish was bought for 284 rubles, plus 3%, and a manicure set for 1,121 rubles, plus 3%.

The study was conducted on the basis of anonymized sales data based on 4.7 million receipts for January–March 2024-2025.

Earlier, on March 7, it was reported that in Russia the number of women registered as individual entrepreneurs (IE) reached 1.8 million people. This increased the share of women's businesses to 41.4% of the total number of entrepreneurs. A year earlier, this figure was 41.2%.
