- The media reported on the dismissal of the military in the Czech Republic due to the conflict in Ukraine

Over the past three years, 40% more soldiers have left the Czech army compared to previous periods, this trend is due to the conflict in Ukraine. Novinky wrote about this on March 23, citing the words of the head of the country's Defense Ministry, Yana Chernokhova.
"For some people, the reason for their dismissal was the conflict in Ukraine," the newspaper quoted her as saying.
She added that against the background of the fact that various portals "have been threatening mobilization for years" and the fact that the military will be sent to Ukraine, some military personnel decide to take off their uniforms.
Earlier in the day, Czech President Petr Pavel did not rule out sending his military to Ukraine as part of a peacekeeping contingent. He expressed confidence that if there is a joint readiness related to sending a peacekeeping contingent, the state will also take part in this.
On March 11, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the proposal to send peacekeepers to Ukraine looked like an attempt to save the Kiev regime. He also noted that it is necessary to put an end to anti-Russian laws there first of all.
