A gang of 13 people was detained in the Republic of Dagestan for the production and sale of drugs through online stores. This was announced on March 23 by the press service of the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"According to the investigation, the suspects organized a criminal community in the region, through which they were engaged in the production, storage, transportation and contactless sale of narcotic drugs via the Internet," the agency quoted TASS as saying.

In accordance with Part 2 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Organization of a criminal community (criminal organization) or participation in it"), a criminal case was opened against 13 residents of the region.

"A scheme has been developed and a supply channel for drug precursors, other chemical reagents and laboratory equipment necessary for the mass production of mephedrone has been established," the agency noted.

On March 21, it became known about the detention of the Russian Federal Security Service in drug laboratories in the Vladimir and Smolensk regions. The attackers sold them online.
