The Iranian Foreign Ministry called the current form of the nuclear deal unviable

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA, or the nuclear deal) is currently beyond restoration in its form due to changed circumstances. This was announced on March 23 by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in an interview with the Khabar-e Online agency.
"The JCPOA in its current form is not viable for us. Our nuclear situation has improved significantly, and we cannot return to the previous conditions," Araqchi was quoted as saying by Iranintl.
He also said that Washington must change its policy before Iran participates in the negotiations.
In 2015, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, Russia, the United States, France, and Iran concluded a deal that involved the lifting of sanctions in exchange for curbing Iran's nuclear program. In May 2018, the United States decided to withdraw from the JCPOA and reinstated sanctions against Tehran.
On March 19, the Axios portal, citing sources, reported that Washington had set a deadline of two months for concluding a new nuclear deal with Tehran. It is clarified that it is not yet clear whether the two-month period starts from the moment the letter is delivered or from the moment negotiations begin.
