A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. It is noted that as a result of the active and decisive actions of the units of the Center group of forces, the Sribnoye settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic was liberated, and the units of the Dnepr group of forces improved the situation along the front line.

"Air defense and electronic warfare systems shot down 10 JDAM guided aerial bombs and three US—made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, as well as 224 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the Defense Ministry said.

Also, tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation damaged infrastructure facilities of military airfields, training centers for operators of unmanned aerial vehicles, their production shops and storage sites, as well as concentrations of manpower and equipment of armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries in 138 districts.

Since the beginning of the special military operation, 659 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 48,085 unmanned aerial vehicles, 601 anti-aircraft missile systems, 22,450 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,530 multiple rocket launchers, 22,926 field artillery and mortars, 33,282 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
