German activists will hold a car rally in support of peace between Germany and Russia

In Cologne, German activists will hold a rally in support of peace between Germany and Russia on March 23. Markus Baisicht, a German lawyer and organizer of actions for friendship between countries, told Izvestia about this.
"We will drive through the whole of Cologne several times with Russian and German flags to express our position — for peace, against further arms supplies to Ukraine, for peace talks and against NATO aggression," he shared.
According to Baizicht, more than 300 cars were registered as part of the campaign, so hundreds of people will take part in the event.
It is also planned to organize another similar event in connection with the celebration of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) on May 9.
At the same time, the lawyer noted that in Germany there is a high level of Russophobia, persecution of Russian-speaking people, discrimination and isolation. However, activists want to speak out against these social phenomena.
In June last year, Pro-Russian activist Elena Kolyasnikova complained to the pressure of the authorities in Germany, which initiate criminal proceedings against people who support Russia, thus expelled them from the country.
