In the Irkutsk region, the number of flooded household plots increased to 105 amid heavy snowmelt. This was reported on March 23 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region on the website.

"As of 08:00 (03:00 Moscow time. On March 23, three residential buildings and 105 household plots in six municipalities and 15 settlements remain flooded," the report says.

The press service also noted in the Telegram channel that work is currently underway to drain meltwater, pump water from flooded areas and provide targeted assistance to residents.

Long flood: the active flood phase began in 11 regions

So far, some rivers are flooded, while others have critically low water levels.

The day before, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported that in 12 regions of Russia, 13 houses and 173 household plots were flooded. In addition, 48 low-water bridges were flooded.
