Serbian Deputy Prime Minister announced protests aimed at destroying the state

The nature of the anti-government protests by students and the opposition in Serbia is more suitable for destroying the state than for making decisions. This was announced on Sunday, March 23, by Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Alexander Vulin.
"Sooner or later, a solution must be found. In a democracy, these are usually either parliamentary elections or the adoption of relevant laws by Parliament. But who should I negotiate with?" he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to Vulin, the Serbian government does not know which force is organizing the protests and with whom to negotiate. And every spontaneous protest movement comes as a surprise to the country.
The demonstrations began in Belgrade in the early morning of March 15. The protest action of students involves blocking key points of the Serbian capital. A convoy of 100 tractors joined the protesters. According to the latest information from President Aleksandar Vucic, 56 people were injured during Saturday's protests. The reason for the start of anti-government protests by students and the opposition since November 2024 was the death of 15 people as a result of the collapse of the canopy of the railway station in Novi Sad. After the tragedy, Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic resigned.
