The head of the advisory council of Argentine President Javier Miley, Demian Reidel, said that the problem of the country is its inhabitants themselves. This was reported on March 22 by the online newspaper Ámbito Financiero.

"We have a large territory, we have energy sources, we have water. And all this in a cold climate, which is the icing on the cake for cooling AI systems. And this is in a zone where there are no armed conflicts, tsunamis, earthquakes. <...> Of course, the problem with this zone is that it is inhabited by Argentines, and this is exactly the problem we have to solve," he said at the forum for businessmen, investors and civil servants of the IEFA 2025.

In his speech, the official also expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the country does not inspire enough confidence among foreign investors due to the unstable economy. At the same time, he noted that the state has significant natural resources at its disposal, including lithium, oil, as well as "huge agricultural potential."

On March 6, Argentine MP Facundo Manes from the opposition Civic Radical Union party sued Argentine presidential adviser Javier Miley Santiago Caputo after receiving threats. In addition, in an application filed electronically, Manes asks for protection for himself and his family.
