- The United States has canceled a reward for information on the whereabouts of the Afghan minister.

The United States has canceled a reward of $10 million for information about the whereabouts of Sirajuddin Haqqani, who holds the post of interior minister in the Afghan government. This was reported by Ariana news on March 23, citing sources.
"Sources close to Acting Interior Minister Haqqani told Ariana News that the U.S. government has canceled awards for several officials of the Islamic Emirate," the TV channel informed.
It is specified that Sirajuddin Haqqani is among those who are no longer on the list.
The situation in Afghanistan has worsened amid the withdrawal of the US military, which has been in the country for 20 years. During this time, it has not been possible to achieve stable peace in the region and improve the political situation in the country.
On August 15, 2021, Taliban militants (the movement is recognized as a terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation) entered Kabul, then announced the "end of the war" in Afghanistan. On the same day, President Ashraf Ghani left the country, thus deciding to "avoid the massacre."
