The Russian military told about the destruction of the AFU equipment in the Belgorod direction

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) For the third day now, they have been unsuccessfully trying to break into the Krasnoyaruzhsky district of the Belgorod region, using a passage cleared by a mine clearance machine. Russian artillery is burning Ukrainian equipment and mowing down forest belts where Ukrainian formations are trying to gain a foothold.

"On the first day, several armored fighting vehicles (BMWs), a tank, and trawls were shot down, which tried to destroy our defenses, then they landed the infantry. And we fired the infantry one by one," said the deputy commander of the control platoon with the call sign Molot.

Strategically, this surge is unlikely to have any development. The main task of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is to divert attention, thereby strengthening its position in the Sumy region, creating a layered defense there, Vladislav Kharchenko informed Izvestia.

"We understand that they have one place of entry into our territory. <...> But we repel their every attack, we have already shot everything," commented the commander of the howitzer artillery battalion under the call sign Samin, adding that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are going to certain death.

Earlier, on March 22, it was reported that calculations of D-30 howitzers of the North group of forces destroyed military equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Belgorod direction. It is specified that the aerial reconnaissance of the Russian army found dugouts and positions with manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the forest belts.
