A motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Vyborg, Leningrad region. This was announced on March 22 by the 78 TV channel.

The incident occurred on the evening of March 22 on Leningradskoye highway. According to the newspaper, a 42-year-old man lost control of a Honda motorcycle and crashed into a bump.

He died on the spot from his injuries. It is specified that the motorcyclist did not have a driver's license.

Police officers are conducting an investigation into the incident.

Earlier, on March 14, Viktor Potapenko, founder of the Motostudy motorcycle driving school, a certified BMW Motorrad instructor, told Izvestia that most accidents involving motorcyclists occur when a car turns from the oncoming lane — the driver of the car turns left, but does not notice the approaching motorcyclist.
