The crew of the Ka-52 helicopter struck the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region

An army aviation crew on a Ka-52 helicopter launched a missile attack on personnel and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of the Kursk region. This was announced on March 23 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"The strike was carried out by aircraft missiles at enemy reconnaissance targets. After using aviation weapons, the crew performed an anti—missile maneuver, released heat traps and returned to the departure area," the ministry said.

According to the aircraft manufacturer, the personnel and armored military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed during the strike.

On March 22, the Ministry of Defense reported that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk direction for the day amounted to more than 200 soldiers. In total, during the fighting in the Kursk border area, enemy troops lost more than 69,320 soldiers, 400 tanks and 323 infantry fighting vehicles. On the same day, it was reported that the crew of a Su-34 fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) destroyed manpower and a stronghold of Ukrainian units in the border area of the Kursk region.
