In total, about 250,000 Ukrainians have received refugee status in the UK since the beginning of the special military operation.
On March 21, the media learned about London's plans to send asylum-seeking migrants to the Balkans. It is specified that to do this, the British ministers intend to appeal to the Balkan countries, including Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Northern Macedonia. During the implementation of the scheme, London will be forced to pay the receiving party for each resettled person.
