The Western media is gradually changing its attitude towards the events in Ukraine. This was announced on March 22 by the head of the Federation Council Commission on information policy Alexei Pushkov in the Telegram channel.

"The attitude towards the events in Ukraine is gradually changing," Pushkov said.

He noted an article by The Hill, which says that the shooting on the Maidan in mid-February 2014 was started by Ukrainian militants who fired at security forces and protesters. And then the police and former president Viktor Yanukovych were blamed for this.

"This bloody provocation became the prologue to the coup in Ukraine, as clearly follows from the publication," concluded Pushkov.

In February 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson that the responsibility for the coup d'etat that took place in Ukraine in 2014 lay with the American intelligence services and European countries that supported the opposition.
