Russian tourist missing in Philippines found alive

Anton Chernov, a 38-year-old Russian who disappeared as part of a six-person tour group, was found alive in the Amlan area, and his life is not in danger. This was announced on March 22 at the Russian Embassy in the Philippines.
"The embassy is in constant contact with law enforcement agencies and has requested an official report on the incident," the representative office told RIA Novosti.
The diplomatic mission added that information about the stable state of health of a Russian citizen was transmitted from the municipal authorities of Valencia (Negros Oriental province). The search lasted two days.
It was reported the day before that the Russian and five other foreigners were listed as missing after contact with the group was lost during the ascent of Talinis volcano. The police of the island state said that three German citizens were also missing — men aged 58, 60 and 67, a British man aged 63 and a Canadian.
