In St. Petersburg, the Russian Guard detained a visitor to the State Hermitage Museum, who stood on the master's chair of Paul I. This was announced on March 22 by the Rosgvardiya of the North-Western District on the VKontakte social network.
"A museum visitor went behind a rope fence and sat on the exhibit to take a selfie. A museum curator immediately approached the man and made a remark to him, to which the man reacted aggressively and stood with his feet on the exhibit," the message says.
It is specified that the museum staff immediately informed the Rosgvardiya staff who guarded the museum, after which they detained the violator. In addition, micro-damages were found during the inspection of the exhibit. He will be sent for a more thorough examination.
On February 13, in the Moscow region, police officers detained a 35-year-old man who attacked two women and stole money from a church. It was clarified that the attacker hit two temple attendants several times with a plastic pipe. After that, he broke the glass on the icon, tore up the posters, and stole money from the donation box. The court later remanded him in custody.
