Mikhail Shvydkoi, Special Representative of the President of Russia for International Cultural Cooperation, said on February 11 that representatives from over 20 countries would take part in the Intervision contest. It is planned to be held in September 2025.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on holding an international music competition in Moscow and the Moscow Region. The relevant document was published on February 3 on the official Internet portal of legal information.
