- Vulin spoke about the amount of funds transferred to Serbia from USAID since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of this year, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has transferred over $40 million to Serbia. This was announced on March 22 by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Vulin.
"Since the beginning of 2025 alone, USAID has transferred over $40 million. They only started until they were stopped. And keep in mind that there are numerous other funds here," Vulin told RIA Novosti.
He added that all funds from Germany are working in Serbia: left, right and green.
On March 15, mass demonstrations began in Serbia. The protest action of the students involved the blocking of key points of the Serbian capital. According to the latest information from President Aleksandar Vucic, 56 people were injured during the protests.
The reason for the start of anti-government rallies in November 2024 was the death of 16 people as a result of the collapse of the canopy of the railway station in Novi Sad. On March 21, Dragan Stanojevic, chairman of the Parliament's Committee on Diaspora and Serbs in the region, said that demonstrations in Serbia could not take place without the participation of Western intelligence services.
