Witkoff talked about Putin's gift for Trump

Russian President Vladimir Putin handed over to the American leader Donald Trump his portrait, which was painted by a Russian artist. This was announced on March 22 by Stephen Witkoff, the US President's special envoy for the Middle East, in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, which was posted on the YouTube channel.
"President Putin commissioned a beautiful portrait of President Trump from a leading Russian artist and gave it to me," Witkoff said.
He added that after handing over the portrait, he brought and gave it to the President of the United States.
At the same time, Witkoff announced a possible meeting between Trump and Putin in the coming months. He noted that Trump had excellent relations with Putin during his first term.
On the evening of March 18, the Russian leader and his American counterpart, Trump, had a telephone conversation. During the conversation, they exchanged views on the Ukrainian conflict, and also discussed a wide range of areas in which the United States and Russia could establish cooperation.
