In 1973, Foreman was able to defeat the then undefeated heavyweight champion Joe Frazier, securing his first title just a few years after starting his professional career, TMZ recalls.
In 1974, in one of the most memorable boxing matches in history, he faced Muhammad Ali in the ring, from whom he was defeated in the eighth round by technical knockout. Subsequently, the two boxers became very close and maintained friendship, regularly communicating with each other.
