Motorized rifle units repelled attacks by unmanned boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Motorized rifle units of the Dnepr group and airborne units practiced joint actions in repelling attacks by unmanned boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on March 22 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The Defense Ministry noted that the western coast of Crimea is periodically exposed to Ukrainian drones and unmanned boats.

To repel attacks by naval drones, motorized rifle and amphibious assault units are practicing joint actions of artillery units and armored groups on Typhoon-AIRBORNE and BMP-2 armored vehicles.

"Work with instructors is carried out on an ongoing basis. We are ready for anti-amphibious defense and for any development of possible events. The specifics of the work have been accumulated both in the area of the SVO and, accordingly, in anti—amphibious defense," said the commander of the rifle company under the call sign Volga.

All attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to influence our units defending the western coast of Crimea are stopped even as they approach the sea.

In early February, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage of the destruction of a crewless boat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the Dnieper estuary. Russian fighters used attack drones against him: the first drone immobilized the watercraft, and the second destroyed it.
