Trump did not answer the question about the new anti-Russian sanctions.

US President Donald Trump gave an evasive answer to the question of whether he would impose new sanctions against Russia amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
"Well, they're fighting against each other," he said in response to a question from reporters at the White House on March 21.
At the same time, he indicated that he hopes for an early cease-fire between the countries. According to him, the process of working on this "is going well."
On the same day, Trump's special envoy for the Middle East, Steven Witkoff, announced that a meeting between the president of the American leader and Russian President Vladimir Putin could take place in the next few months. He also noted that it was a "great mercy" on the part of the Russian leader to receive him in the capital.
