Trump denied discussing with Putin the deadline for the start of the ceasefire

Russian President Vladimir Putin did not discuss with his American counterpart Donald Trump the deadline for the introduction of a ceasefire in Ukraine. This was announced on Friday, March 21, by Trump, answering questions from reporters at the White House.
So, representatives of the press asked the US president if he had tried to set a deadline during a conversation with Putin when a ceasefire regime should be introduced in the Ukrainian conflict.
"Not a deadline," Trump said.
Earlier in the day, the American leader said that negotiations were currently underway on the division of the territories of Ukraine and a complete cease-fire between Moscow and Kiev. He admitted that both sides will be able to achieve a complete ceasefire very soon, after which they will conclude an agreement.
