The Interior Ministry told about the benefits for specialists from visa-free countries

For qualified specialists from countries with which the Russian Federation has a visa regime, a number of simplifications have been introduced if they decide to work in Russia. This was announced on March 21 by the press service of the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

"Highly qualified specialists have a number of preferences. Thus, they are exempt from the obligation to take exams in the Russian language, the history of Russia and the basics of legislation of the Russian Federation. They can bring their family with them to Russia," the ministry said.

Also, foreign specialists have the right to obtain a residence permit under a simplified procedure. And both for myself and for my close relatives.

"In turn, the employer does not need to obtain permission to attract and use such foreign workers," the Interior Ministry said.

On March 14, Rosobrnadzor approved the minimum number of points for successful Russian language testing by migrant children. The minimum number of points confirming the successful completion of the Russian language proficiency test by foreign citizens and stateless persons is three points, which confirms compliance with the requirements for the level of knowledge.
